Akashi Ume Blended Whisky

Akashi Ume is a Japanese whisky aged in bourbon barrels and then refined for a few months in Umeshu Shiratama barrels (a Japanese plum liqueur). It comes from the oldest Japanese distillery, the Eigashima distillery, better known by the White Oak brand. Akashi Meisei is a blend of 30% single malt and grain whisky.
