History

In 1940, Mr. Abel Ramos's Shop was born, a small commercial and family establishment that nurtured a relationship of trust with its employees and customers. Over time, it became the natural choice for families in the region when it came to shopping.

The idea of opening a supermarket arose in 1978, with the emergence of new marketing concepts that demanded a renewed approach to customer service. It was in this context that Mr. Abel Ramos's Shop transformed into Supermercado Mira Ramos, while continuing to ensure excellent personalized service in the provision of quality products.

Years later, the evolution of the consumer goods market led to the emergence of hypermarkets, characterized by offering a wide range of products in one place. Keeping up with this trend, from 1985 onwards, Mira Ramos began to offer butcher, fishmonger, bakery, and cafeteria sections, in addition to the previously existing areas: grocery, greengrocer, and frozen foods.

Supermercado Mira Ramos has reinvented and updated itself, introducing changes in its visual identity, investing in the refurbishment of its facilities, training employees, and following current hypermarket concepts. This dynamism is accompanied by a constant concern for guaranteeing service quality and personalized treatment, always maintaining a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, combining tradition with modernity.
