Fazenda Arcossó Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir

1.5 ha plot, part of a 7ha vineyard (planted in 2016) located on a wide hillside at medium altitude (450 meters), facing east, with about a 20% slope. Granite soil.

The grapes were harvested on August 28th and vinified in tanks with pre-fermentation cold maceration for 4 days, and crushing by the weight of the must. All pre-fermentation and fermentation pump-overs were carried out by gravity without the use of pumps. The wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels; the resulting 2600 bottles were bottled in July 2024 and will remain in cellar aging for 18 months. Wine neither fined nor filtered.
