The manual and meticulous harvest takes place in the second week of August, selecting only the best Viosinho grapes. Spontaneous fermentation, driven by indigenous yeasts, occurs in new and used French oak barrels from the prestigious Bertrange forest. This process extends for 12 months, with aging on total lees that imparts complexity and texture to the wine.
With 13% alcohol, total acidity of 6.0 g/L, and just 1.0 g/L of residual sugar, this white wine stands out for its vibrant freshness, elegant minerality, and perfect balance. A pure and unadorned wine, designed to faithfully express the richness of the granitic terroir where it originates.
Only 4200 bottles were produced, making this Viosinho a true treasure for lovers of unique and authentic wines. Ideal for pairing with light dishes, such as grilled fish or sophisticated salads, or to be enjoyed on its own on a relaxed late afternoon. An unmissable experience that celebrates the best of the Douro.
