Sparkling Wine Alvarinho Muros Antigos

The carefully selected grapes were whole-bunch pressed to obtain a high-quality must. The free-run must was cooled and then decanted at low temperatures for 48 hours. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at around 16ºC for 20 days, followed by a period of ageing on fine lees. Using the classic method, a second fermentation occurred in the bottle, which allowed the sparkling wine to develop unique characteristics, refreshing and vibrant aromas that demonstrate Alvarinho at its best. Finally, in the last phase of production, after the completion of fermentation, disgorgement was carried out.
