Low stock
Made with 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 7% Merlot adding roundness and extra brightness. The result is a highly defined red wine: black fruit, tension and depth, with a mineral and smoky edge typical of Pauillac.
Winemaking: Rigorous selection, gravity-fed process and ageing in 100% new oak, to polish without losing energy. A historical note: this is the first time a Mouton label features a Portuguese artist — Joana Vasconcelos — elevating this 2023 vintage to a collector's item.
Leading High Scores
The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) – 96 points, James Suckling – 99 points, and Jancis Robinson – 18 points. It is a cellar wine for rare occasions, with a structure to evolve beautifully over decades. Serve at 16–18ºC and, if young, decant for 45–60 minutes to allow its complexity to open up.
