Alvarinho Anselmo Mendes Curtimenta 2023

White wine made from Alvarinho grapes exclusively produced in Monção and Melgaço. The vines are over 12 years old and have low yields with high acidity levels and good ripeness. It is a traditionally made wine with skin contact, resulting in more colour and tannins. It aims to fully explore the potential of the Alvarinho grape. Vinification of Vinho Verde Alvarinho Anselmo Mendes Curtimenta 2021: Partial destemming. Skin maceration followed by fermentation with the skins for several hours. Fermentation finishes in used 400-litre barrels. In the same barrels, it undergoes bâtonnage for 9 months on total lees.
