This red wine is the offspring of three micro-parcels planted around 1900, authentic living museums where more than 45 grape varieties grow side by side, in poor clay-schist soils and exposed to altitudes ranging from 250 to 400 meters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHarvested by hand and treated with an almost ceremonial respect, the wine enters the winery in 20 kg boxes and goes directly to the lagar, where a three-day pre-fermentation maceration extracts the best from the fruit. Fermentation is entirely spontaneous, conducted only by indigenous yeasts, and the aging takes place in new and used French oak barrels from the Bertrange forest, for a total of 18 months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is a Douro wine like no other: fresh, taut, mineral, with vibrant natural acidity and a character deeply connected to the place.
